Debbie Wileman seems to be following in the footsteps of Judy, Barbra and Gaga with her very own A Star is Born story.

Leaving a trail of soul destroying day-jobs behind her, recently married Debbie had thrown herself into full-time stay-at-home-mum-hood with abandon… Then along came the pandemic and her decision to film herself singing ‘A Song A Day’ mostly from outside in her car (Car-negie Hall), so as not to disturb the neighbours, and share them on Facebook. Over 1,000,000 views later – yes that’s right, A MILLION – an international collaboration (with Billy Stritch, Liza Minnelli’s Musical Director) and she is truly an overnight internet sensation.

She’s an accomplished actress (she starred in Little Voice on tour), a natural comedian and an extraordinary vocal impressionist. Her impression of Judy Garland has been called ‘uncanny’ and ‘astonishing’ but there’s also Bassey, Monroe, Streisand, Julie Andrews and Billie Holliday…
