This Midsummer Day, award-winning poetry anthologist, Allie Esiri celebrates the release of her new book, A Poem for Every Summer Day.
The ‘stream and book’ package includes a unique ticket for the stream, and a copy of A Poem for Every Summer Day, deliverable to any UK address or International address.
For one night only, the event will be broadcast on 21st June 2021 at 19:00 UK time. It will be available to view up to a week after the event has ended and can be accessed Worldwide. If you live in a time zone that does not suit the initial broadcast time you can watch it at any point after the initial showing for one week.

Special guest readers Alexander Armstrong (Armstrong & Miller, Pointless, Classic FM) and Kate Fleetwood (Tony & Olivier award nominee, Macbeth, London Road) will transport you out of the year we have just had and into the warm embrace of summer.
Curated and introduced by Allie, expect poems that move us, entertain us, and make us laugh. Aimed at all ages, Allie’s anthologies have been best books of the year in The Times, New Statesman and The Observer. Amongst many recommendations, A Poem for Every Day of the Year was chosen as the castaway book on BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs, and A Poem for Every Night of the Year won the IBW 2017 book award.
