Everything is Not Enough is the brilliant second novel from the acclaimed author of In Every Mirror She’s Black. It follows three women as they try to navigate life, love, prejudice and privilege in supposedly egalitarian Stockholm. This novel explores a range of themes from tokenisation and fetishisation to sexuality, womanhood, and isolation.

Onyi Nwabineli’s debut novel Someday, Maybe is an unconventional love story about loss, resilience, and recovery. After her husband’s unexpected death, Eve is heartbroken. But everyone around her seems to be pushing her to move on. Unable to face the future, Eve begins looking back, delving through the history of her marriage in an attempt to understand where it went wrong.

For this unique virtual event, Lola and Onyi will come together to discuss these complex and heartfelt books. From getting started in their writing journeys, finding inspiration, and representing untold stories, this event will tug at your heartstrings and inspire thoughtful conversations, make sure you tune in.
