Amir was first introduced to the boxing gym when he was 8 years old. He fought his first three fights in Bolton boxing club and went on to fight for Bury Boxing club. By the time he was 16, he had won three schoolboy championships, three junior ABA championships, gold in the junior Olympics and finally won gold at the European student championships in Lithuania.

Amir will be joined in conversation for this online event to look back on his exhilarating boxing career that spanned 27 years from his first fight to his last. For this night in, you can expect Amir to reveal stories from his life outside of the ring for the first time. He’ll share stories on his greatest fights and rivals, his Muslim upbringing and how his family forged him into a role model for his Pakistani heritage. If you’re looking for hilarious and heart-warming stories from the everyday antics of Amir’s life as a husband and father of free, alongside relatable and hard-won life advice, this event is the place to be. Mark your calendars and make sure you tune in.
