The earth that we love is in grave danger because of us. Forests are becoming legends, rare as unicorns.

If we continue to live as we do now, Ben argues in this evocative collection, there will be no world left for us to fix. Tiger Work is a collection that blends fiction, essay and poetry to make a powerful appeal for change. Ben will be joined by novelist, short story writer, editor, journalist and academic Leone Ross for this powerful event to discuss the single most importance issue of our time – climate change.

This event will encourage all of us to adjust our perspectives and envision a new destiny for humanity. In Tiger Work, Ben imagines messages, sent to us from beyond the end, from those who saw it coming – from Africa, Europe, the Americas and the rest of the world – exhorting us to change now. Ben’s newest book, and this event contain all of ben’s classic blend of storytelling, fantasy and magic. Do not miss out.

“Ben Okri is that rare thing, a literary and social visionary, a writer for whom all three – literature, culture and vision – are profoundly interwoven.” Ali Smith

“Where fiction’s master of enchantments stares down a real horror, and without blinking or flinching, produces a work of beauty, grace and uncommon power.” Marlon James
